Admiral Marine – Visits The Dusseldorf Boat Show 2020

Following the big 50^th Anniversary milestone last year for The Dusseldorf Boat Show 2019, it was without question that The Dusseldorf Boat Show 2020, was always going to be firmly in our calendar for a day visit again this year.

We very much enjoyed our day at The Dusseldorf Boat Show 2020, especially the efficient public transport which comes free as part of your entry ticket, including the amazing trains which run every 4 minutes into the boat show.

Once, we had arrived at The Dusseldorf Boat Show 2020, as usual there were an abundance of New Yachts & New Boats on display. This included some of the Best Sailing Yachts, that had already been awarded an “Oscar” for European Yacht Of The Year 2020, in their nominated categories.

During our visit to The Dusseldorf Boat Show 2020, we managed to get some photos of some of our favorite new sailing yachts, that caught our eye and that we specifically insure here at Admiral Marine.

The Dusseldorf Boat Show 2020 – New Yachts – Hallberg Rassy 44

This year, it was the 50th time that Hallberg Rassy yachts, had exhibited at that the Dusseldorf Boat Show and they displayed one of their most popular sailing yachts the Hallberg Rassy 44. This yacht has actually been around for a while now and had its World Premiere at the Dusseldorf Boat Show back in 2017.

To date Hallberg Rassy have manufactured and delivered 9200, Hallberg Rassy 44 Yachts, the world over and it’s certainly been a commercial success for the company. The new Hallberg Rassy 44 comes with contemporary improvements to make cruising ever more efficient, fast and comfortable.

The Dusseldorf Boat Show 2020 – New Yachts – Oyster Yacht 565

Last year, the Oyster 565 Bluewater Sailing Yacht, had its World Premiere at The Southampton Boat Show 2019, where of course the Sailing Yacht Manufacturer is based locally in Southampton. We’ve found a Full Tour Video from Toby Hodges at Yachting World.

As Toby Hodges from Yachting World mentions in the above Video, that Oyster Yachts will be running their third Oyster Yacht World Rally in January 2022. This will include the Oyster 565 Bluewater Sailing Yacht and of course this yacht is well designed to circumnavigate the globe.

The Oyster Yachts World Rally was well promoted at the Dusseldorf Boat Show 2020 and spaces for Oyster Yacht Owners are limited to just 30, so competition is expect to be tough for this 24,000 mile around the world trip starting from Nelson’s Dockyard in Antigua.

The Dusseldorf Boat Show 2020 – New Yachts – Nautor Swan 48

This year, Nautor Swan Yachts displayed one of their most iconic Swan Yachts at The Dusseldorf Boat Show 2020, the Swan 48. The Nautor Swan 48 was first designed back in 1971 and the latest design had its premiere, last year at the Cannes Boat Show 2019.

Next year, the Swan 48 will be fifty years old and the latest design really encapsulates, why this ever popular Swan Yacht has been around for so long. Capable of sailing around the world comfortably and with the absolute first class interiors, you can take the family cruising with you.

The Dusseldorf Boat Show 2020 – New Yachts – X Yacht 40

This year, X Yachts won European Yacht Of The Year 2020 within the Performance Cruiser category, with their brand new X Yacht 40. This high performance cruising yacht from the Danish Yacht Manufacturer, is the smallest model in the new X Series from X Yachts.

The X Yacht 40, which has been aptly named as it is forty foot long, is capable of both long range cruising and racing more locally around the buoys. It’s a sturdy design, which comes with a galvanized steel hull frame, first developed by X Yachts back in 1981.

The Dusseldorf Boat Show 2020 – New Yachts – X Yacht 46

Last year, the X Yacht 46 was nominated for the European Yacht Of The Year 2019 award within the same Performance Cruiser category, as the recent winning X Yacht 40. Although, the X Yacht 46 didn’t win on this occasion, it did win Boat Of The Year 2020 from Cruising World for Best Full Size Cruiser.

X Yachts have certainly been winning some awards in recent years and this year X Yachts displayed the X Yacht 46 at The Dusseldorf Boot Show 2020. This family cruiser is certainly built to last, with good quality materials, craftsmanship and is well priced when compared with other similar sized sailing yachts.
